Project 59

I started Project 59 in 1995. It is a playful and ironic project based on nonsense that invisibly turns to sense and raises serious philosophical, social and other issues. As an artist I am trying to avoid talking seriously about serious things. I prefer to "sandwich" serious ideas with a playful form. For the past five years I've been living within this project, making various works: installations, performances, happenings. I wrote the main theoretical book Thesis 59 (59 paragraphs with 59 words in each) where I established the general idea.
