Review Process |
Longwood Arts Project reviews submissions and proposals on an ongoing basis. However, for better planning and to fulfill fundraising deadlines, exhibitions in the Main Gallery are programmed from one to two years in advance, while the Project Room is more flexible and immediate and is programmed every six months to one year in advance. We welcome proposals that focus on emerging and underrecognized artists and submissions that are unafraid of experimentation, innovation, interdisciplinary practices, and risk-taking. Artists, art historians, curators, scholars, and writers of color are highly encouraged to propose exhibitions and concepts. You may wish to consult Longwood's recent exhibition history to see the extensive trajectory of projects, ideas, artists, and curators we have presented. [Check out the "SCHEDULE" menu at the top of this web site's home page.]
